Gonaives Christian Mission in Haiti
Sainsurin Jean-Baptiste, a native of Haiti, graduated from Winston-Salem Bible College in 1989. He made a commitment to return to Haiti when he finished his degree in the United States. He made true on that commitment and founded Gonaives Christian Mission in 1989. Since being founded, Gonaives Christian Mission has completed numerous construction projects including building churches, schools, and even outhouses. Recently Gonaives Christian Church was expanded to meet the needs of God's people here in Haiti. None of this would be possible without support of donors abroad. That being said, there is still tremendous need in Haiti who has been devastated by one disaster after another.
Gonaives Christian Mission currently supports five churches and associated schools to serve the children around each church. These churches include Gonaives Christian Church, Gros-Morne Christian Church, Hennery Christian Church, Grand L'eau Christian Church, and Achin Christian Church.
Currently the Mission is struggling to meet the financial needs of the the five churches and schools. Right now we need your support to keep providing God's word and much needed education to God's children.
